This free event sets the perfect tone for the holiday week with a festival, parade, and live music, all building up to a dazzling firework display just before 9:00 pm. It's a fantastic way to dive into the spirit of Independence Day early. 

If you're in Diamondhead, you are in for a treat! The city’s Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, also on Saturday, June 29th, promises a vibrant evening from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Harbor Drive. Bring your beach chair or blanket, indulge in delicious coastal foods, and enjoy live music, all capped off with a spectacular firework show. 

On Wednesday, July 3rd, head over to Fort Maurepas Park in Ocean Springs for their Annual Independence Celebration Fireworks Show. This family-friendly event features food, drinks, games, and live music, making it the perfect prelude to the big day. The fireworks kick off at approximately 9:00 pm, lighting up the sky in a brilliant display of colors. 

Independence Day Extravaganza 

When July 4th arrives, Coastal Mississippi pulls out all the stops. One of the most unique ways to experience the festivities is by sailing a historic Biloxi Schooner for their Biloxi Schooner Sail for 4th of July. Departing from the Biloxi Schooner Pier at 7:00 pm, the schooner provides a stunning sunset view before positioning behind Deer Island for the fireworks and an unforgettable experience. 

For those who love a bit of luxury, the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino celebrates Red, White, & Beau with holiday-themed menus and poolside music by DJ Hyphee. As night falls, you’ll have a prime spot to watch the Biloxi fireworks, making it a perfect blend of relaxation and celebration. 

Baseball fans, mark your calendars for the Biloxi Shuckers Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza! Gates open at 5:30 pm, and all military personnel receive discounted admission. After enjoying an exciting game, stay for the post-game fireworks that light up the night sky. 

For an unforgettable Independence Day experience, head to the Biloxi Bay Bridge for the Biloxi Fireworks Show, offering expansive views across the Mississippi Sound. This prime spot allows you to sit directly across from the fireworks barge for a close-up view of the dazzling displays. The show begins at 9:00 pm and is set to patriotic music, broadcast on BOB 105.9. The fireworks are launched from a barge near Deer Island, with the best viewing spots ranging from the Biloxi Lighthouse to the Biloxi Bay Bridge. Additionally, a fireworks-free zone is available for spectators.

The Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport will also reopen its doors after normal business hours for Fins, Fireworks, & Frosty Beers. Enjoy the unique aquarium experience combined with fireworks on the front lawn for an unforgettable evening. 

Bay St. Louis offers a picturesque setting for its Lighting Up Da Bay fireworks show. Beginning at 8:45 pm, this event invites you to watch the display from the beach or by boat for the best views. It’s a beautiful way to end a day filled with patriotic festivities. 

For a more serene but equally spectacular experience, book a 2-hour sunset cruise with Ship Island Excursions for their 4th of July Fireworks Cruise. Enjoy a magical sunset, music, fireworks, and a full bar as you sail into the night. Boarding starts at 7:00 pm and departs at 7:30 pm, ensuring you get the best view of the fireworks. 

In Pascagoula, get ready for their Light up the sky, it's the 4th of July! Join the community for a spectacular Fireworks Show, which you can enjoy by boat or land. To enhance your experience, tune in to patriotic music synchronized with the fireworks on Magic 93.7 and the iHeart Radio App. It’s a celebration that promises to make your heart swell with pride. 

The Fun Continues 

The celebration doesn’t stop on the 4th. From July 4th to 6th, the 40th Annual Our Lady of the Gulf Crab Festival in Bay St. Louis promises a fun-filled weekend with arts and crafts vendors, mouth-watering seafood, and a 5k and one-mile fun run. The festivities culminate with a performance by Kings of Neon, making it a must-visit event. 

In Gulfport, the 76th Annual Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo runs from July 4th to 7th at the Gulfport Small Craft Harbor. The Midway opens at noon each day, featuring live music and daily weigh-ins. Don’t miss the fireworks on Thursday at 8:45 pm, a highlight of this cherished event. 

Finally, on Sunday, July 7th, wrap up the celebrations with the 95th Annual Blessing of the Fleet in Biloxi. This family-friendly event starts at 11:00 am on the Great Lawn across from Harrah's Gulf Coast. It features a Shrimp Festival, arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, and the best views for the Biloxi Boat Blessing. The ceremonial wreath dropping at 2:00 pm is a beautiful and meaningful tradition.
