Annual Events & Festivals

Coastal vibes and good times never stop in Coastal Mississippi! With twelve Coastal communities in our tri-county region, our collective calendar boasts events all year long. Several annual events and festivals are notable on the Coast!

With food as a cornerstone of our culture, several annual events spotlight the Gulf seafood industry in Coastal Mississippi. The Crawfish Music Festival at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum never disappoints with headline entertainment, exciting midway rides, and, of course, hot-boiled crawfish, and the Annual Biloxi Seafood Festival on the Biloxi Town Green features a gumbo cook-off and several activities for families to enjoy. Moreover, if you can catch it, we’ll weigh it. The tri-county region hosts the Annual King Master and Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic tournaments, bringing in competitive fishing teams nationwide.

Cars are a thing in Coastal Mississippi. We celebrate each make and model and have different annual events to prove it: Jeepin’ the Coast, Scrapin’ the Coast, and Cruisin’ the Coast. Voted #1 by USA Today as the Best Car Show Competition, Cruisin’ the Coast brings car enthusiasts from over 40 states, as well as international visitors, to celebrate antique, classic, and hot rod vehicles.

Blessing of the Fleet & Shrimp Festival – July 6, 2025!

Kick off the shrimping season with one of Biloxi’s most cherished Coastal traditions! The Blessing of the Fleet is a vibrant annual event that honors the city’s deep-rooted fishing heritage. This ceremonial blessing, led by a local Catholic priest, marks the official start of the shrimp fishing season in the Mississippi Sound. Biloxi’s first Blessing of the Fleet took place in 1929. Today, it continues as a colorful procession of decorated boats, drawing locals and visitors alike to celebrate faith, family, and the Coast’s maritime legacy.
