About

Jeffrey Osborne, born in Providence, Rhode Island, was the youngest of 12 children in a musically inclined family, with a father who played trumpet with legends like Lionel Hampton and Duke Ellington. Inspired by a stint with the O'Jays at age 15, Osborne pursued a music career, joining the band Love Men Ltd. (later L.T.D.) as a drummer and eventually their lead vocalist. After a decade with L.T.D., he embarked on a successful solo career, producing hits like "On the Wings of Love" and earning four Grammy nominations and multiple gold and platinum albums. Osborne continues to perform and tour globally. In 2012, he founded The Jeffrey Osborne Foundation, raising over $750,000 for various charities in Rhode Island through his Celebrity Golf Tournament. His latest album, "Worth It All," released in 2018, returns to his R&B roots.
