Description
Lynn Meadows is the unique venue for your special occasions or events! The Frank House, the grounds and the museum make this place the most magical place for any occasion. The area can accommodate from 2–400.
The Grounds offer six acres with beautiful oak trees and a breeze from the Gulf. Use of the grounds includes The Pavilion, and The Tree Houses - access to the actual museum is not available. Weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and company gatherings are just a few examples of events that can be hosted on the grounds.
Discovery Center and Grounds has capacity for 300 indoor seating and 500 standing reception. When you rent both the grounds and the museum you get the use of the six acres as well as access to the museum. Your guests will have a enjoy attending a cocktail reception inside this unique venue and on the grounds.
Details:
Museum: The entire 15,000 square feet of museum space is available for parties and other functions. Open rafters and exposed brick provide charm and character, while the children’s exhibits add color and creativity.
Birthday Party Room: The 29’X26’ party room is available for birthdays and other functions. The room features a colorful mural, tables and chairs.
WINGS Performing Arts Theatre: The spacious theatre can comfortably accommodate 200 – 250 guests (seated). Audio/visual equipment is available, including a large projection screen.
WINGS Performing Arts Building Foyer: The foyer is 72’x32’ and can accommodate 80 seated guests.
Viking Kitchen: Our 40’x26’ Viking kitchen is equipped with multiple cooking surfaces, ovens, refrigerator, sinks, dishwasher and icemaker, as well as pots, pans and cooking utensils. The kitchen can be used for private cooking classes and parties, as well as for preparation for weddings and other functions held at our facilities.
Café to the Stars: Café to the Stars is located off of our kitchen. The room is 24” x 41’ and can accommodate 40 people seated.
Pavilion: Our 57’x33’ pavilion is located at the southeast end of the museum. The space can be divided into three 19’x33’ rooms.
Frank’s Place: Frank’s Place is located at the southwest side of the museum. The facility is 16’x40’.
The Gathering Place: Located directly south of the museum, just outside the main entrance, the gathering place is a large wooden triangular deck, approximately 41’x58’, under the large live oak trees.
Outdoor Space: Our 7.5 acres of beautiful oak-covered outdoor space are also available for weddings, parties and other functions.
