Overview
Gulf Hills Hotel & Resort holds a unique place in Coastal Mississippi history. It began in 1927 when the Branigar brothers, originally from Chicago, discovered an amazing stretch of property located on Fort Bayou that offered unparalleled natural beauty. Immediately, they knew its unique and rich landscape would be the perfect setting for what they referred to as “a resort like no other in its era." And so, Gulf Hills Hotel was born. The prestigious resort attracted affluent tourists and historical figures from all around the world, including Elvis Presley! Our mission is centered around revitalizing this property and cultivating this part of our local history.
Our hotel features 52 rooms, a large pool, reception area and gorgeous views of the bayou! More to come in 2023!
