Overview
The Alice Moseley Folk Art Museum is located in the historic L&N Train Depot on the 2nd floor and has over 100 of Alice Moseley's original paintings, as well as a gift shop. The museum, voted one of the top five museums to visit by Mississippi Magazine readers, honors nationally acclaimed folk artist Alice Latimer Moseley (1909-2004).
Ms. Alice began painting at the age of 65 when her mother became ill, and she needed a hobby to pass the time while she was caring for her. She has been featured in Southern Living, Travel and Leisure, and Southern Breeze magazines, among others. She was also twice featured on the PBS television show, Mississippi Roads.
Open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
