Celebrating three decades in the music industry, Travis Tritt stands as a resilient and influential figure in Southern rock-infused country music. Hailing from Marietta, Georgia, Tritt's journey began in 1989 with Warner Bros., where his honky-tonk apprenticeship molded his distinct sound, blending Southern rock, blues, and gospel into country music. Achieving early success with hits like "Country Club" and "Help Me Hold On," he quickly became a key player in the Class of '89,' alongside country icons Garth Brooks, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson. Over the years, Tritt's non-conformist image, marked by the absence of a cowboy hat, coupled with his musical assertiveness, set him apart. With seven platinum or higher-certified albums, over 30 million in career album sales, two Grammys, and three CMA Awards, Tritt has left an indelible mark on the genre. Beyond music, he's showcased his talents at major sporting events and formed his label, Post Oak Recordings, releasing projects like "The Calm After..." and the intimate live recording "A Man and His Guitar – Live From The Franklin Theatre." In 2021, Tritt made a triumphant return with a new album produced by Dave Cobb, marking his first original release in over thirteen years, solidifying his enduring impact on country music.
