Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band formed in 1999 in British Columbia. Their music blends post-grunge, alternative rock, and hard rock with elements of country and acoustic influences. The band, led by frontman Tyler Connolly, gained fame after signing with Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger’s record label, 604 Records. They are known for hits like "Bad Girlfriend," "Rx (Medicate)," and "Not Meant to Be." Their lyrics often explore themes of relationships, struggles, and personal hardships. Over the years, their sound has evolved from heavy rock to incorporating more mainstream and experimental elements.
