About

Preservation in May, the community’s annual month-long celebration of Biloxi’s history, kicks off Thursday with a sneak peek of the upcoming historical and cultural expo.

The public is invited to begin the series by previewing the annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Historical and Cultural Exposition. Before the expo opens to the public on Friday and Saturday from 9am - 4pm at the Visitors Center, Preservation in May attendees will get to visit with local historians and tour information booths celebrating the history and culture of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The Preservation series picks up each Thursday throughout the month and includes the Passport to History program. Through the program, series attendees can get their passport stamped at each event. Those who collect at least three stamps and attend the last event on May 30, will receive a free gift.
