Culture and community collide in Downtown Ocean Springs, celebrating art, craft, entrepreneurship, and family. Each Magic Hour provides free admission to changing exhibitions, featuring combinations of local art, live music, yard games, and craft beverages. Held quarterly, after hours. FREE for all.

The Traveler is the Walter Anderson Museum of Art’s newest campus addition, inspired by Walter Anderson’s intrepid adventures across the world and into his own Southern wild.

This century-old building has been reimagined as a coffee shop, restaurant, cultural and community space, and immersive contemporary art exhibition. Like Shearwater Pottery, also nearly 100 years old, The Traveler champions creative economy, craftsmanship, and local sourcing. Almost everything at The Traveler, from the furniture to the signage to the coffee cups, is artist-designed, -curated, or -made.
