Jefferson Davis's 217th Birthday Celebration

Join Us for the 217th Jefferson Davis Birthday Celebration with a fun-filled and educational afternoon for the whole family at historic Beauvoir!

General Admission: $15 per person (Don’t forget—movie tickets are only $2 with admission!)

Schedule of Events – 

• 12:30 p.m. – Southern Classic Movie: Enjoy a special showing of The Littlest Rebel, a heartwarming Southern classic the whole family will love.
  Movie tickets: $2 per person (with admission)
  Children 5 and under: FREE
  
  Birthday desserts, snacks, and popcorn will be served in the gift shop!
  
  
• 2 p.m. – Mississippi Rifles Honor Salute: Watch history come to life as our talented living historians bring back the Mississippi Rifles to fire a volley in honor of President Davis.
  
  
• After the Salute:
  Guests are encouraged to tour the Jefferson Davis Presidential Library, our museum, and the Beauvoir Mansion, Jefferson Davis's last home.
