Celebrate with Jesmyn Ward at the final stop of her national tour for the paperback release of Let Us Descend. The bash begins at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 11th at 100 Men Hall. The bar will be open, Los Sarapes Tacos food truck will be parked outside, and Pass Books will be there with the softcover version of Let Us Descend and all of her other books for sale and her signature. It will be an iconic moment, not only because of the historical significance of 100 Men Hall, but also because Jesmyn recorded the audio version of Let Us Descend there as well.
The event begins with Jesmyn Ward in conversation with her longtime friend, Scott Naugle, co-owner of Pass Books. Both will be introduced by Keva Scott, CEO of The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast. Audience questions will be welcomed.
