Annual Mardi Paw Cluster Dog Show

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Kennel Club presents its 13th Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Mardi Paw Cluster Dog Show! Over 700 dogs representing some of the 201 breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club will compete each day for Best In Show and Reserve Best In Show titles.

On Friday, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Working Group Club will hold two specialty breed dog shows for the 31 members of the Working Group. In addition, there will be Junior Showmanship, a Conformation "B" match, a 4 to 6 month puppy match, and Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, and Temperament Tests conducted.

On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a pee-wee event, where children ages 5 to 9 can show their dogs in a dog show ring. Also, there will be both CAT (Coursing Ability Trials) and FastCAT trials held all three days. Specialty breed shows will also be held, featuring the Boxer Club of Louisiana and the Boston Terrier Club of Louisiana on both Saturday and Sunday.

Per AKC regulations, only dogs competing in the events will be allowed on the show grounds, and no strollers or wagons are permitted.
