About

Musicians from as far away as Europe and as close as New Orleans will bring the Across the Pond Guitar Festival back to 100 Men Hall. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The concert at 100 Men Hall features guitar virtuosi Gavino Loche (Italy), Adrian Raso (Canada), Jimmy Robinson (New Orleans). They will be accompanied by many New Orleans' great guitarists, including Layla Musslewhite, John Rankin, and Cranston Clements.

Table reservations are an additional fee and could be reserved here

There will be delicious food for purchase by Chef Gene Coia as well as a cash/credit bar. Chef Gene has been cooking since he could see the stovetop. He has earned his stripes in and about the New Orleans culinary scene, winning multiple awards. Catch him cooking for the kids for the 100 Men Hall's A Soulful Christmas every December and hope you catch his magic for the Hall's gumbo cook-off, Rock 'N' Roux.

This Festival is truly international in its performers and its performances. The musicians will travel to perform concerts in Amsterdam, Atlanta, New Orleans and as well as here in Bay Saint Louis, where local guitarists will join them on stage.

“We are very happy to be able to bring musicians of international renown to Bay St Louis,” said 100 Men Hall Director Rachel Dangermond. “It continues the 100 year history of the Hall as a key performance venue.”

Gavino Loche is an award winning acoustic guitar phenom. “Gavino sounds like two really great guitarists playing together, combining percussive sounds, tapping and incredible finger style arrangements.” ~Chitarra Acustica

Adrian Raso plays a unique hybrid of Gypsy Jazz and Rockabilly on acoustic and electric guitars. His playing includes everything from Django Reinhardt and flamenco, to decades of Americana. “Adrian’s playing will grab you and never let go. Totally addictive." ~World Music Central

Jimmy Robinson is veteran guitarist, touring as a soloist performing his own intricate compositions. “Talent, emotion and plain old musicianship. Nothing short of brilliant." ~The Huffington Post
