Amtrak is Rolling Into Coastal Mississippi
This summer, the sound of train whistles will once again echo across our shoreline. The brand-new Amtrak Mardi Gras Service, running twice daily between New Orleans and Mobile, is set to make four stops along Coastal Mississippi – Pascagoula, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Bay Saint Louis - marking the return of passenger rail to the Coast after a nearly 20-year hiatus. Set to kick off August 18 with tickets available to purchase now, the Mardi Gras Service offers a scenic, stress-free alternative to driving!
