Coastal Mississippi, March 11, 2025 – Coastal Mississippi, known for southern charm, fabulous food, and beautiful beaches, has again had two coastal cities—Bay St. Louis and Ocean Springs, named to Southern Living’s list of The 50 Best Beach Towns In The South. Additionally, The Springs Hotel in Ocean Springs was named “The Coastal Charmer” in The South’s Best New Hotels Category and The Shed BBQ Joint was again named to The South’s Best Barbecue Joints for 2025.

South’s Best are chosen annually by third-party agency Proof Insights through an online survey of Southern Living Consumers, asking them to rate their favorite places across the South. The survey for this slate of honorees was conducted from July 10 – August 21, 2024.
